THE PROBLEM
What needed solving
DeFi users were tracking positions across 10+ protocols and 3+ chains using separate interfaces and spreadsheets.
Yield farming opportunities were missed because users couldn't compare APYs across protocols in real-time.
Gas fee estimation was unreliable, leading to failed transactions and wasted funds.
No unified view existed for total portfolio value, impermanent loss tracking, or historical performance.
THE SOLUTION
How I approached it
Built a multi-chain aggregation layer using The Graph that indexes positions across Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum.
Created a real-time yield comparison engine that normalizes APYs and factors in gas costs for true ROI calculation.
Implemented smart gas estimation with automatic retry and MEV protection for swaps.
Designed a portfolio analytics dashboard with P&L tracking, impermanent loss alerts, and tax-ready export.
